Sodobna umetnost (Aljoša Abrahamsberg), 5. november 2022 ― Spectrum je najnovejša umetniška produkcija Tadeja Droljca, ki jo je razvil na enomesečni rezidenci R.o.R v Šempasu. Umetnik prvič v svoji produkciji predstavlja lasersko projekcijo v kombinaciji z video mapiranjem. Enomesečna ruralna rezidenca mednarodno priznanega in nagrajenega umetnika Tadeja Droljca, je potekala v sklopu rezidenčnega programa R.o.R pod vodstvom zavoda BridA, in se je zaključila z velikim avdiovizualnim laserskim spektaklom v Novi Gorici. Dogodek na prostem je prepletal zvok, sliko in svetlobo in sodobno umetnost na vznemirljiv način približal širši javnosti in občinstvo potopil v edinstveno izkušnjo, saj se je novogoriška občinska stavba spremenila v platno intermedijskega umetnika. Dr. Tadej Droljc je interdisciplinarni umetnik, ki deluje na polju elektronske glasbe, računalniško generiranih avdiovizualnih kompozicij in drugih oblik intermedijske umetnosti. Na Centre for Research in New Music na University of Huddersfield (VB) je zaključil doktorski študij na temo avdiovizualne kompozicije. Tam je v tem času poučeval računalniško kompozicijo. V zadnjih letih je prejel več mednarodnih nagrad in priznanj, med drugim »Edigma-Semibreve Award« »Lumen Prize Student Award«, »Lumen« shortlist, »Madatac Most Promising Video Artist« ter štipendijo »Dennis Smalley« za elektroakustično glasbo in štipendijo Ministrstva za kulturo za podiplomske študije. Svoja dela je predstavljal na festivalih po celem svetu, med drugim na znameniti Ars Electronici, L.E.V. festival, Marche du Film (Cannes Film Festival), Semibreve, Node, Sonica Glasgow, Brighton Digital festival, Madatac, Inter BEE Tokyo etc.

Blocking out his mother’s wrath, he is swooned by a mysterious dragon figure into the subway.
